A great way to get up and start your morning, fresh and happy! Work this spell at sunrise and take a moment to embrace all the magic and possibilities of a brand-new day. There are no accessories needed for this spell. Just yourself and the sunrise.
Directions: Turn and face the east. Feel the warmth and power of the sun wash over you. Ground and center yourself, then when you are ready repeat the charm.
As this new day begins, I stand and greet the dawn,
May I help and heal others, and bring no one harm.
I rejoice in the promise of a new magical day.
Bring me love, success, and health in the best possible way.

Its that time of the year again, when classes resume. Say this chant whenever you are faced with an important test!
Before taking a test or exam, say the following:
“On this test I take today,
I will receive no less than A.
Earth, wind, fire, and sea
As I Say, So Mote It Be!”
It also helps to draw a pentagram onto your paper somewhere.

If you are planning a move or a vacation and want to be remembered by those you leave behind, here is a great spell inspired by the north. Before you leave, find a quiet spot near the house. Using several flat stones, construct an Inukshuk—a human form made from rocks in Inuit tradition. (Don’t be afraid to use glue if you’re concerned about it toppling.) Walking in front of it, touch your third eye and then touch the headlike part of the statue. Chant:
Ever watching am I.
Ever in your hearts, am I.
Till my return, stone Inukshuk,
Stand strong like my love.
A smaller version of this statue can be constructed for inside an apartment or given as a gift to a child who will miss you. It can even be given as a going-away present.

Altar Tool of the Day: The Bell
Bell are like the voice of the Goddess with a ring that calls the divines attention to you and your work, and you to them. The bell is used for many things such as:
This spell, if properly applied, will dispel negativity, break curses, and add protection—and so is essential for sensitive Witches. To start, get a green candle, some real or fake ivy, a green fruit such as pear or apple, and a bell. Cut the fruit in four pieces. Arrange the ivy. Place the slices of fruit in the four directions. Light the flame. Face north and chant:
By the powers of the northern light,
I break any negativity in my life.
Ring the bell, and allow it to resonate. Face south, and say:
By the powers of the southern side, strong I am.
Let my powers rise.
Face east, saying:
By the powers of the eastern Sun,
I face my fears and watch them run.
Face west, and say:
By the powers of the western night,
I break any curse. It takes flight.
Snuff out the fire, take a breath, and eat the fruit.

Items needed:
2 black candles
Nail, needle, Exacto knife, or other sharp pointed device used to etch candle
An effective candle spell for wealth and prosperity utilizes two black candles since black draws in all color and energy in the universe. Etch your name and the words “money”, “wealth”, “riches” and any other words of power along the sides of the candles. Then light the candles and grasp them firmly in your hands until you feel your pulse throbbing beneath your fingers, a sign that your aura is mingling with the candles’ auras and that your intentions are firmly grounded in the candles.
Visualize what you want, saying,
“These candles bring me wealth and riches.”
Say:
“In no way will this spell cause me to suffer any adverse effects!”
When finished, extinguish the flame with a spoon, candle snuffer, or your fingers (not your breath, which will change the spell).
Begin this spell on Sunday, Thursday, or Friday as these days honor the sun, Jupiter, and Venus respectively.
Re-light the candles every night until they are completely burned down. Daily repetition will increase the spell’s effectiveness and your own prosperity consciousness.

Altar Tool of the Day: The Altar Cloth
The altar cloth is used to cover the table a witch has set up altar on. While an altar cloth is certainly not a necessary item to have it can add to the energy of the ritual if you use a corresponding color with what magickal work you are performing. It also can serve as protection from your working table getting covered in wax or anything else. Just be sure that the altar cloth can have the wax removed easily, or if it cant that it wasnt so expensive that you will be heart broken it got ruined.
Altar cloths serve as more of an elegant touch to any altar rather than a necessity, but if you have multiple cloths in multiple coulours you can certainly correspond them to help in the energy of your spells and rituals.
Cloths are not only for altars, they also can be used to hold tarot cards and be used when you work with them, or you can use a cloth when rune casting. Though they are not necessary.

Here are some general uses and meanings of the chalice as an altar tool:

Altar Tool of the Day: The Wand
Here are some of the general meanings and uses of this Altar tool:
The wand is used as a portable version of the witches broom. Wands are an extension of the users self and can be made from almost any material. The most popular however is wood, because of its varied magical properties that all the different types have. Crystals can also be added to the tips of wands for added protection and magical effects.
Wands are most often used for divination and channeling magical energies. In certain cases the wand can replace the Athame in things like ritual for casting and closing circles.
Wands are placed in the south and are related to The God. Wands often represent the Will, transformation, and magic itself.

Lammas Alter. I don’t know who this belongs to, but I think it’s a great looking alter.
